Missing Prison Ship Discovered Adrift in Redonesses System

Multiple sightings have been reported of the missing prison megaship EVE-597 with system authorities confirming that the vessel has suffered damage.

Pilots inspecting the Riker-class prison ship noted disabled defence turrets and a significant quantity of drifting debris.

"This doesn't look like a mis-jump to me," stated one Commander over local comms. “More like an ambush.”

When Vox Galactica approached The Independent Detention Foundation for comment, a spokesperson briefly acknowledged that a "disturbance" had taken place on board EVE-597 during the transit window. The spokesperson declined to offer any further details at this time.

Pilots have been advised to remain extra vigilant as the Clan of Redonesses maintains a firm grip on the system, prompting questions as to any possible involvement between the lawless clan and EVE-597's arrival. The Foundation asks onlookers to keep a safe distance from the prison ship until a full investigation has been completed.
